Loop Earplugs
My current role at Loop Earplugs covers packaging design and print production for all primary packaging components across the product portfolio. As the first in-house packaging hire, I balance design evolution, process implementation, supplier relationships, and program management.

Unboxing
Loop’s launch of Dream earplugs was a defining product and packaging moment in the brand's short history. This updated unboxing accommodated a larger product case and created a larger area for ear tip packaging and storage. Packaging the extra ear tips independently from the main box was an unincorporated learning from previous UX studies.
The Dream packaging design incorporated many small unboxing improvements that produced measurable results in pre-production UX testing, scoring the highest with users of any Loop package thus far.
Prototyping and Evaluation
Each round of sampling I evaluated product fit, material and construction quality, and overall assembly fit. For the Dream launch there were 4 product CMF SKUs, 1 case accessory SKU, and 5 ear tip accessory SKUs.
Graphic Design
In addition to structural design, a new graphic identity was needed for the new core “Dream” line of Loop products. The soft Loop in the middle represents a dream state of comfort and maximum sound attenuation. In-box instructions introduce the user to the Dream product line, detail how to insert, change ear tips, and keep your earplugs clean.
